Work will begin in spring 2008 in the Mission Hill Section of Boston to transform an empty lot into a quiet meditative space in the very neighborhood that Imette grew up in.  NEH will be responsible for constructing the pathways leading through the park in the “River of Life” theme.  A combination of multicolored decorative concrete, imbedded glass and pavers that will create the effect of a flowing river and will symbolize the ripple effects of 2006 murder of St. Guillen.  The design is from Jennie Smith of the Community Outreach Group for Landscape Design.
